Mikaeil’s Wings

Mikaeil is an Iranian boy who carries the African sun in his backpack. Between the pages of his favorite book, he dreams of lions, giraffes, and the warmth of a place where winter never comes.

But when a cruel prank locks him alone in the dark, cold school bathroom, fear threatens to freeze his heart. Trapped and forgotten in the silence, Mikaeil discovers that the walls can only imprison his body, but not his mind. By closing his eyes, he passes through the school roof and flies towards the savannah, transforming isolation into an extraordinary journey of freedom.

Mikaeil’s Wings is a sensitive and powerful story about resilience and the refuge of imagination. A narrative that teaches children that, even in the darkest moments, we are capable of creating our own horizons and that the true power of freedom is born within us.
